What we offer!
HIFZ CLASSES
This is an Intensive program which is a syllabus for learning The Holy Quran by heart. Committing the entire Quran by heart is no easy task and requires a very high level of discipline, focus, dedication and patience. The Barakah (blessings) of learning the Quran by heart is manifold.
MAKTAB CLASSES
Maktabza offers a comprehensive education programme for children between the ages of 6 and 15. These classes take place after school hours and teach children recitation and memorisation of the Quraan, as well as covering other subjects including Du’aas (Supplications), Hadith, Aqaaid (Beliefs and Imaan), Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Akhlaaq (Morals and Etiquette) and Taareekh / Seerah (Islamic History). The classes for children are structured in a fun and creative atmosphere which facilitates learning. We aim to provide the children with comprehensive Islamic education which will provide them with a solid footing for their later years. Our classes are taught in English and we have children from over 20 nationalities enrolled in these classes. The pinnacle of each academic year is the end of year assembly where children have an opportunity to showcase what they have learnt in front of parents and are awarded for their achievements. .
ADULT CLASSES
Maktabza offers a range of Adult programmes catering for a wide audience. We have ladies only classes in the mornings teaching Arabic, tafseer of the Quran, Hadeeth and Fiqh. We also have classes in the evenings which are open for both men and ladies to cater for working individuals. The success of our Adult classes prove that it is never too late to learn and by learning about Islam we aim to cultivate true Islamic qualities which should be inherent in every Muslim.

Our Educators
Muhammad Nanabhay
Muhammad Nanabhay is from South Africa and has a Masters degree in Islamic studies. He is a Haafiz (one who has memorised the Quran).
Hadia Bhatti
Muallimah Hadia is from Pakistan and holds a BA in Islamic Studies and Sociology and a Masters in Sociology. She has studied the Holy Quran, Classical Arabic and Tajweed. She has also taught Islamic Studies in Pakistan and was one of the founding teachers for a charity school in Islamabad.
Lubna Malik
Muallimah Lubna has completed an MA in Islamic Studies from Pakistan and has been involved in the field of education and teaching since 2010. She has most recently taught as a senior Islamic teacher in a Gems school in the UAE.
Hira Naveed
Muallimah Hira is from Pakistan and has completed a Diploma and MA in Islamic studies. She has taught children at SAIC since 2010 and other Islamic institutes as well. Her passion is to teach children the Quran and sunnah with a focus on character building.
